Day 247 of a year of kindness - My friend, Libby, is visiting from Seattle, and she wanted a lobster roll. So, we went to our favorite clam shack. It’s the kind of place that serves you from one window so you end up waiting in a long line. But you don’t mind it because it’s worth it.
Lib and I met Mary from New Hampshire who was visiting with family but ventured off to get some seafood. We had so much fun talking to her in line that we invited her to sit with us.During dinner, she shared all sorts of stories from her years as a midwife and one very spectacular encounter with a whale. Libby shared some of her extra clamcakes. Mary thanked us for including her in our circle and we were so happy she did.
Science of Kindness: Research reveals that inclusion is one of the most powerful forms of kindness because it dissolves loneliness and builds connection. #Bekind #kindnessisfree #kindnessmatters #bekindExample Text
