Sept. 3 - Egg Drop

Day 245 of a year of kindness - My mother and I have been saving paper egg cartons. The cupboard was bursting with them.My friend, Melissa Hubbard Steadman, told me that she would repurpose them. So, we met for breakfast today and I handed her a lot of egg cartons. She immediately delivered some to Aquidneck Food Pantry. They get large crates of eggs and always need egg cartons to deliver to singles or families. 

This weekend Melissa is delivering the rest to her friend who raises chickens and needs egg cartons to store the eggs.This was a kindness triple. We saved the egg cartons, Melissa delivered the egg cartons, and the food pantry and her friend will share the eggs.
