Day 253 of a year of kindness

Kindness ambassador #31, #Cyndi Myers, reports on some kindness in Southwest Florida.

Cyndi had finished shopping in Home Goods and was heading to her car. She saw a woman trying unsuccessfully to fit a large painting into her car. Cyndi saw her struggle and realized it was never going to fit. So, she asked this woman if she could put her painting in her much larger car and bring it to her. She agreed.

After Cyndi delivered it, the woman shared that she recently divorced after 22 years and had just moved into her new place. She was so grateful for the help.

Science of Kindness: Science reveals that delivering a painting for a stranger underscores the simple act of showing up for someone - even someone you don’t know. Seeing the struggle and helping to ease it is always kind.
