Day 303 of a Year of Kindness

Happy Halloween! This seems like a silly one - but it’s perfect for a holiday steeped in candy. Today’s act of kindness was flossing my teeth.I actually floss every day, but I’m counting it in my kindness tally, because it’s an important self-care practice. I learned that the hard way after my obsession with 3 Musketeers manifested into a mouth full of cavities in high school.Since then, I’ve become an avid flosser.

Flossing once a day protects your smile, reduces plaque, supports your overall health, and keeps your teeth and gums healthy. This habit can save you from dental procedures, painful infections and health risks down the road. Kindness to your future self is the ultimate kindness.

Science of Kindness: Research reveals that flossing daily is kind because it’s a low-effort, high impact act of self-care that protects your overall well-being. #BeKind #KindnessCounts #KindnessCounts2025 #kindness #kindnesseffect #flossingteeth #dentalhealth
