Day 302 of a year of kindnessIn just a few days, 42 million Americans will lose access to SNAP - the nation’s food assistance program. So, today I donated to the Rhode Island Food Bank.

For me, donating money is best because the food bank can buy more food with my dollars because of its relationship to wholesale partners. Donations help replenish the shelves of area food pantries including ones in my town.No one should go hungry. I’m watching my community and the nation stand up and help. It’s heartbreaking. But you can see the ripple effect of kindness everywhere you look.

Science of Kindness: Research shows that whether you support a food bank, a local fundraiser, or a national cause, your donation is a tangible act of kindness. It says: I see you. I care. I want to help. And that message—backed by science—has the power to heal, uplift, and transform.#BeKind #KindnessCounts #KindnessCounts2025 #kindness #kindnesseffect #rhodeislandfoodbank #feedamerica
