Day 289 of a year of kindness

This is a repeat kindness with a different twist. I took my daughter to drop off her car at the auto mechanic's this morning. On our way back, we rolled into the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru, and I bought her an iced coffee. While paying for the coffee, I glanced in my rearview mirror and saw a harried looking woman gripping her steering wheel. I asked the cashier how much was the bill for the car behind me. She told me it was $6.72. So, I paid for her coffee too. And then - we drove off.
