Day 324 of a year of kindness

Tonight I went to a brewery with some friends to hear dueling pianos. People were clapping and singing in a fairly crowded and dimly lit space. After they played the last song (Piano Man by Billy Joel) two of my friends left quickly to beat the traffic, while I stayed behind to talk to some folks. And that’s when I noticed it! In the dimly lit brewery, I noticed a lone wallet sitting on a chair. I picked it up and opened it to see if I could find identification. It belonged to one of my friends who had left earlier. I immediately texted her that I found her wallet and she was so relieved. I was so happy that I found it!

Science of Kindness: Research and my own life experience of losing a wallet or two reveals that the act of finding someone’s wallet and returning it to them is a unique kindness of its own kind. #BeKind #KindnessCounts #KindnessCounts2025 #kindnessmatters #lostandfound
