Day 305 of a year of kindness

This summer, I met an elementary school student named Benny Thomas, who had a lemonade stand and was raising money for a trip to Florida. Later, his Mom sent me a little video he made about kindness.

Recently he was diagnosed with a rare medical issue and requires a mobility van for a wheelchair. Today, his family had a raffle and silent auction at a local restaurant to raise money for the van. So many people in the community came out - it was nice to see kindness in action and Benny's big smile.
