Day 319 of a year of kindness

Today I bought three pieces of my favorite cake in the whole world: Orange Crunch Cake at the Bubble Room on Captiva Island. It is an effort to get this cake (it’s an hour drive) but it is worth every bite. I got a piece for my son and his girlfriend and two more pieces for friends.I surprised my friends with the cake tonight and it made them so happy. Eating cake with friends is a delicious kind of kindness that instantly brightens someone’s day.
