Day 316 of a year of kindnessHappy World Kindness Day! 

I celebrated at Florida Gulf Coast University this afternoon with Maria Loffredo Roca. The Roots of Compassion & Kindness Center hosted a World Kindness event and I volunteered to run the compliment table.

At first, I gave the students a compliment. Then a student gave me a compliment. And then a bit later, a student who received a compliment wanted to write one for someone else. So, the compliment practice evolved into giving and getting compliments, which is the perfect World Kindness practice - it’s meaningful and contagious.
