Day 315 of a year of kindness
Last year I went to the Seaport Christmas market in Boston and met Gina Pina who was selling her amazing organic candles. I shared a laugh with her because my mother’s name is Kina. So, I bought a Gina Pina candle for Kina. It’s called Mistletoe and smells like a delicious Christmas tree. It quickly became my mother’s all-time favorite candle - and mine too.
A few days ago, I checked out Gina’s website and there were no candles listed so I reached out. It turns out that she had traveled to Jamaica because her family lost everything after the recent category 5 hurricane. She notified me today that her candles were back up on her website. So, I bought two Gina Pina candles for Kina and sent her this photo of my mother. She was so appreciative and I’m so extra happy to buy from her this year. www.gporganicssoulcare.com
Science of Kindness: Science reveals that when you support small businesses - especially after a crisis - you’re not just buying a product—you’re investing in a person’s recovery, and future. You’re choosing relational commerce over transactional convenience. #BeKind #KindnessCounts #KindnessCounts2025 Day #smallbusinesses #gporganicssoulcare.com
