Day 128 of a year of Kindness

I love books and libraries. When I travel, I always find the library. I find peace and happiness surrounded by books. But I realized I don’t do much to support my local library besides donating an occasional book. So, today I joined the Friends of Narragansett Library for $10. I told them that I was ready to start protesting against book banning. However, the librarian told me that Rhode Island doesn’t have a book banning issue. Good to know. I also learned I can help in other ways such as events or publicity. So, my $10 donation goes to a good cause and offers me the chance to participate in one of my favorite places.
