Day 141 of a year of Kindness

A few years ago, I found out about Megan Murphy, from Cape Cod, who established the Kindness Rock Project. She felt lost after selling her business and walked the beach looking for inspiration. She thought that if she painted rocks with the words of inspiration she was looking for, and sprinkled them around the beach, it might help someone else. Her idea went viral and people from all over the world started painting and sharing rocks.

I had these rocks in my car from a rock painting event I went to a year ago and decided to share them today. I put them next to this beautiful outdoor sculpture by the beach. I wrote: “Pay it Forward” on the back of the stones. Maybe just the right person will need this reminder and tuck one of these rocks in their pocket.
