Day 174 of a year of Kindness

My car battery died this afternoon. Fortunately, it died outside my daughter’s apartment. I called AAA and within 30 minutes the truck pulled up. I grabbed a cold water for the driver because it was really hot outside. He checked my battery, confirmed it was dead, pulled out a new one from his magical AAA truck and installed it. 

While he installed my new battery, I asked Ryan his name and we chatted about his day. It is kind to find out about the people who help us get through our days and start our cars. Making eye contact and asking someone how their day is going is one of the easiest acts of kindness.
