Day 152 of a year of Kindness
Every morning for the past few weeks, I would peek out the kitchen window and say hello to a robin and then later, her baby robins. But today, they were gone - they literally spread their wings and flew away. All that was left was their empty nest above the back door. I took some time today to appreciate the other beautiful gifts of spring that will disappear soon - like Irises. Baby robins and swaths of purple Irises come and go so quickly. It’s kind to slow down and be grateful for the beauty we have in our lives today.
Science of kindness: Research shows that fully engaging in the present, free from thoughts of the past or the future, is kind for your mind. Focusing on the present provides peace and clarity and reduces worry and stress. #bekind #kindnessiscontagious #kindnessisfree #kindness #stayingpresent #irises
