Day 204 of a year of Kindness

My brother Stuart Cline, kindness ambassador #5, shares the latest kindness.

I am filling in for Francesca while she is healing and being kind to her body. I am taking the kindness baton for today to spread a little kindness in New Mexico.

I went to the local hospital in Albuquerque and put up sticky notes for the counselors, surgeons, hospice workers and family members who have loved ones in the hospice unit. I put sticky notes and cards on doors, by the entrance that nurses and doctors enter for surgery and on mirrors in the bathrooms for counselors who do addiction and trauma work. I shared a variety of supportive messages.

In this photo I put affirmations on top of the call center where family and staff enter to get into the hospice unit. Patients are living out their last days and many families are distressed.

The message I wrote for them, and the message I want you to hear today is - whatever you are going through, you are stronger than you think. You are more loved than you know. Yes, you are.

Science of Kindness:Research shows that by choosing to do something that helps others, you contribute to a kinder society that supports everyone's mental health. It is kind to offer affirmations of support to people, especially those suffering. #bekind #kindnessiscontagious #kindnessisfree #kindness #mentalhealthsupport
