Day 203 of a year of Kindness
Kindness Ambassador #4, Alan Williams, is sharing his kindness from a Greek island.

“I'm in Greece this week and supporting my amazing friend Francesca Donlan, who’s recovering from ankle surgery but still inspiring daily acts of kindness, through what is becoming a Team Francesca Kindness Challenge.

Yesterday, I decided to make a conscious effort to give way to every vehicle on these charmingly narrow roads. Some drivers smiled, some waved, some just carried on – and one overtook me in frustration, only to get stuck in oncoming traffic 😂

Kindness doesn’t always get acknowledged, and that’s okay. It’s about the intention – making space, literally and figuratively, even when no one’s watching.

And since Francesca usually includes a photo, I thought I’d add a little something from here: the sound of a Greek summer – a cicada in full voice.

Science of Kindness:
Traffic courtesies are kind because they enhance road safety and create a more respectful driving environment for all. Practicing common courtesy not only benefits the driver but also fosters a sense of calm and consideration among fellow motorists. By being kind and patient, drivers can improve traffic flow, reduce conflicts, and ultimately contribute to a smoother driving experience for everyone involved. hashtag#KindnessChallenge hashtag#BeKind hashtag#kindness hashtag#k20 hashtag#KindnessEveryDay hashtag#FrancescaStrong hashtag#KindnessIsContagious hashtag#KindnessisFree
