Day 364 of a year of kindness

For one of my final acts of kindness in 2025, I stood in seven-degree windy weather and served soup to fishermen.There has been a group of women serving soup in the fishing Port of Galilee for almost 20 years and Perry - in the photo - is one of them.

Handing someone a hot carton of soup in the freezing cold is a wonderful feeling. This moment, like so many of the others this year, reminds me again of all the kind people in the world quietly making life better, one kindness, one shared experience, one carton of soup at a time.
