Day 360 of a year of kindness
Today, I had a quiet day, which meant doing some work and watching Elf. I would say that December is historically a high-stress month for me. But this December seemed unusually harsh, which required extra self-care and serenity.
However, I can share a kindness that happened in the wild today. My cousin-in-law jumped an older couple’s car battery after he saw others walk right by them. One of the benefits of my kindness practice is that friends and family share their kindnesses with me, which always makes me happy.
Science of Kindness: Research reveals that if you make kindness a value in your life it becomes a social norm. Your friends and family will tell you about their kindnesses because they know that is something we talk about, celebrate and notice. That’s how cultures of kindness form — one shared story at a time. #BeKind #KindnessCounts #KindnessCounts2025 #kindness #kindnesseffect #kindnessmatters
