Day 234 of a year of Kindness
I couldn’t face scootering to the grocery store or asking someone to take time out of this beautiful summer day to go grocery shopping for me - so I ordered it online. That seems like an obvious solution, but I’m new to ordering groceries or food that comes to the house. I always just get it myself. But I figured I would give it a whirl this afternoon especially because I needed food and I had a free delivery code!
I ordered all sorts of seltzers and waters that are too heavy for me to carry right now. It was truly the kindest thing that I could do for myself. I gave the driver a tip. She’s also an Uber driver and she really appreciated it. She told me that delivering groceries was way better than delivering people. We helped each other.
In the future, I’m going to do this again - scooter or no scooter. It saves so much time and it’s such a wonderful service.
Science of Kindness: Research reveals that finding ways to add to the quality of your life by utilizing a service is kind. It saves time and it can save your sanity. #bekind #kindness #kindnessmatters #kindnessisfree #shaws #grocerydelivery
