Day 115 of a year of Kindness
In my effort to support service workers in my life, I filled out a customer service survey today. Last week, I took my Mazda in for a check up. Sarah met me at the service counter and was so personable. She told me it would take a couple of hours and she would call me when it was ready. I joked that it might be hard since I couldn’t get my ringer to work. Sarah took a look at my phone and fixed it in less than a minute. Later, when the car was taking a little longer than expected, she offered me water and let me use their board room for a Zoom meeting. She told me that it was her one month anniversary at the car dealership. So, when I got the survey today, I gave a big shout out to Sarah. It took me just a few minutes and will hopefully mean something to Sarah.
Science of kindness: Research reveals that giving someone an excellent review can help increase the employee's confidence on the job and impress their boss. It’s always kind to give kudos for a job well done. It’s also kind to support young people who are just getting started. #kindness #kindnessiscontagious #kindnessisfree #bekind #floodmazda
